STUDENT MAGAZINE RESEARCH/ ANALYSIS

SECONDARY SCHOOL GUIDE
This school magazine has chosen to use a large font for the word 'School' which stands out immediately, on top of that it has also applied the colour navy blue to keep it bold. Text styles has been varied; uses of Capital, Italic, Arial Normal to pursue it's own importance. The colours used are also varied but mainly the colour scheme is red & blue. The use of the blocks of highlights are there to give out further information.
The way the image is presented on the magazine reflects good organisation. The students uniform are tidy and bright which makes the students centre of focus (subject of topic more relevant as it creates a link 'back to school'). The body language of the students in the following image outshine as it give out a comforting outlook towards the behaviour of the students which credits the school; friendly & smart. The main purpose of this magazine is to inform us the readers about 'CHOOSING A School FOR YOUR CHILD VICTORIA'.

TEENAGE STRESS
The following magazine uses range of colour, more soft and warm colours which reflects the font to be more comfortable and easy to read. The layout of this particularity magazine is simple and gives out a more feminine taste of the choices of colour. Therefore I believe their aimed audience is female teens.
The font size varies from small to large, there are uses of different style of writing on the magazine some which is more fancy and different from the  others. The figure on the magazine stereotypes femininity and the choice of subject reflects the aimed audience 'teenage stress'. The figures on the magazine reveals the body gesture of the student; giving out a more comforting and open out outlook.

PREP SCHOOL COOL
The 'Prep School' magazine straight on has a fancy wording which clearly makes a lot of difference, it immediately make the magazine appear much more appealing to look at as it cool this then perfectly fits the purpose of the title 'Prep School Cool' giving out a cool expression. The model's bodily expression expresses out a strong, independent and confident expression to the readers, allowing them to fit in and to be comfortable in the surrounding making it easy for them to adapt. The colours used expresses dark and light tone on the front of the magazine as it exposes the exciting part of the school 'Cool'.
