CONTENT PAGE MOCK UP

These are the content page mock-ups, I have designed as a idea for my final piece outlook. The one on the left is a simply layout spacious which had more images then writing. On the other hand, the one on the right has more writing then images but the overall look is balanced because it covers up all the empty space of the magazine content page. The layout of the content pages are different as well as the colour scheme.  I have selectively chosen these image to embed in my magazine because it is taken in a range of settings and it has a different vibe to the mazagine.

DOUBLE PAGE MOCK UP'S

This is another sample of how, I might want my final layout of a double spread to look.  This time I have placed my quotation side of the half of the page spread on the left hand side to see what fit's best for the final double page spread. The colour scheme I have decided to use again is turquoise because it is a warm colour which juxtapositions the setting. Again a balance of Light vs Dark. I have intentionally chosen to create this double page styled layout because it signifies the pop genre it's cool, vibrant, bubbly and outstanding. I have made my masthead larger then the rest of my write up to make readers aware of the main title name of my music mazagine cover 'NVW'.

DOUBLE PAGE MOCK UP'S

This is a idea of a layout of my double page spread. I have used a medium shot. This contains a figure from the knees/waist up and is normally used to show some detail of action by focusing on the left hand side of the magazine. On the right hand side of the magazine, I have decided to a simple quotation page as the second half of the magazine cover, I have decided to do this to make the cover balance out the colour scheme and to just present it in a simplistic manner.

FRONT COVER MOCK UP

BEFORE PHOTOSHOP
AFTER PHOTOSHOP

This is my third front cover mockup. Again I have Adobe Photoshop CS4 to photoshop the image of my main model into a magazine cover type of style. Once again I have used Vidalko as my Masthead font. The text colour ranges - turquoise, white, black and black and white (on the name of the model). The I've again used the sae font for the subtitle Gidole. The concept of my image cover I have made the again is  into a dark lighting with a hint of light from the background. To make the model stand out.

FRONT COVER MOCK UP

AFTER PHOTOSHOP

This is one of my mock up front cover. I have present a before and after photoshop. I have used Vidalok font for my Masthead and made it bold and large so it standout in magazine, the colour scheme I have decided to use is turquoise. Then for my subtitle I have used a Gidole font, then made the colour of the text white. The contrast of the warm and hot colours creates a balance to the cover.

  • Produce 3 drafted Masthead:

  • FINAL MASTHEAD I HAVE DECIDED TO USE IS NVW
I have decided to use sildebean to present my Masthead and layout the ideas.  I have decided to use this because it is more structured and simple at the same time. Time consuming and promising for a trial. This is my first time using this software but I have managed to make use of it and came with this outcome.
Overall, coming into a conclusion I have decided to use my Masthead Idea 3 because I like  the concept of ambiguity which adds spice to the music genre RnB.

FINAL - Still Editing!
This is an idea of the layout of how my final magazine would look. I have used a bright colour for my Masthead and used it to also outlined important details. I have placed the model as the main focus but have she is not in he centre yet more to the corners of the photo because I wanted to balance the focus on the setting as well as the model.  TRY OUT
